My project to buy a classic Mustang (68er), import it from the States to Constance at the Lake of Constance in Germany and have it restored by a local garage.

Finally she's got the gear knop
I almoust forgot to show you the new gear knop, which is hopfully the last part I get from the body shop that cost me not only a bunch of money, but also a lot of patience.
The body shop owner told me, it already arrived about 3 months ago. But his email never reached me. So I just got it two weeks ago. It feels great!

Waking up
Although I really had enough time to check what was wrong with the turn signals I just managed to find out today it was only a fuse.
But because I thought at first sight it could be somthing with the turn signal switch we took off the steering wheel and took some pics of it.
So I orderd some fuse today and hopefully they will arrive around next week. Next week end the weather is supposed to be nice dry and sunny and we can start the season then.

Some work on details
I was curious how easy it would be to take off the stearing wheel, maybe I want to change it some day. When I did that, something happend to my horn ring retainer and the horn contacts so at first when I put the whole thing together again, the horn didn't work anymore. When I tried to fix that the horn got a permanent contact. So I took it off.
Because some parts of the old horn ring retainer were broke, I thought I better get a new one.
This right contact made the permanant contact, because it was twisted when I put back the horn ring. The easiest was to have at least one contact and a horn sound was to remove that bending contact.
So when I put everything together I realized, that my blinker light did not work any more although the warning light is still working. In the inside as well as on the outside.
Some people told me, it could be the blinker relay. So I ordered a new blinker relay and to not olny order one small thing I also orderd a new distributor cap since the mechanic at the bodyshop told me, mine was really old and should be replaced.
I replaced the blinker relais, but the blinker still does not work. Any suggestions?
Changing the distributor cap was easy and worked out.
