My project to buy a classic Mustang (68er), import it from the States to Constance at the Lake of Constance in Germany and have it restored by a local garage.

Still not on the road
Everytime when it seems to be ready to hit the road, something still is not working or not working good enough. So patience should be my best friend now.
And if it's not the car it's the weather.
And if it's not the car it's the weather.
But I'm confident it happens some day this year... Really

Let's get the work started I
The work has started and here are some pics of the current state. The engine is still the original one with 4,9 l, but it will be replaced. Also with 4,9 l - but different. Really different.
A lot of things look already good e.g. the paint will stay as it is and also all the chrome parts. I also decided to keep the wheel rims.
The interior has been pulled out and what's underneath does not look too bad. There is a whole that has to be welded and the interior will be insulated.
This is just a preview. This post will be updated, when I get the pics from Klaus who took some more.
Here is the update.
This will be the engine that should run inside the car.
The interior has been pulled out and is waiting for it's rework in the shelf.

Can touch this
Yes! It's here and I got a first look.
The damage at the back looks worse than it actually is, said the mechanic. And for me it makes not really a difference, if I don't have to pay for it and it get's fixed anyway.
Unfortunately I got not enough time today to take some photos, but there will be a lot!! I promise.
